I just want to take a second to say that, a queer space or a punk space is not inherently a safe space. We get safe spaces by fighting for them. If you see someone who ignores consent and you know someone who has been subjected to violence, you stand beside them, don't turn a blind eye. That shit won't fly. Anyone can participate and benefit from a system that marginalizes and silences survivors. We really should know better at this point. We must stop it. Don't be a fucking coward.
